Community Engagement
SanDisk is committed to supporting the communities in which our
employees work and live. We have established relationships with
organizations providing support in areas such as health care,
family and child support, education and cultural enhancements.
SanDisk has implemented a program that provides financial support
and product donations to worthy organizations. This program also
encourages the involvement of our employees through matching of
monetary donations and providing opportunities for employees to
volunteer their time. SanDisk employees consistently have given a
commitment of time and energy in educational and charity drives and
organizations and we are committed to making a difference.
Our programs are worldwide in their scope and an example of our
community sharing commitment is the community foundation fund that
SanDisk established in May 2003 to provide funding to community
organizations. SanDisk also partners with the Silicon Valley
Community Foundation (SVCF), a non-profit organization that
specializes in philanthropic and charitable giving programs. This
is just one way that SanDisk shares its financial success with the
local communities.
