Help the World
L.A.-based photographer Amy Tierney
(www.f8f11.com)
has a decade's worth of experience working with A-list talent and
the industry's leading influencers. Her portraiture has an
unmistakably candid style and has been published both nationally
and internationally across every medium. Amy's inspirations come
from film, flight, fashion and her journeys into the varied
cultures within Los Angeles. In 2006, she crafted a signature
program for the nationally recognized non-profit Step Up Women's
Network, entitled "Photojournalism for Girls/The I Dream to…
Project". Since its inception, the program has paired over 200
underserved girls in Los Angeles, Chicago and New York with VIPs,
teaching them photojournalism to build self-esteem and leadership
skills. Her latest work has been for commercial and fashion
clients.
She shoots and processes with an
entirely digital workflow on a Macintosh platform using the Canon
5D Mark II camera. She began working with the SanDisk Extreme® Team
and is excited to use the latest memory cards for her work, to
inspire and teach audiences around the globe.
